A girl (or guy) can never spend too much time in a hair salon... well that’s what I thought when I attended the launch party of Joey Scandizzo’s Salon in South Yarra. The star studded event was hosted by Ruby Rose, who DJ’d in the courtyard while guests sipped on Peroni and Capi cocktails.

The salon by day, and bar on this particular night, was decorated with dozens of awards including “Australian Hairdresser of the Year” and “Victorian Hairdresser of the Year”. Gorgeous MTV host Ruby Rose was there supporting long time friend and hair dresser, Scandizzo. When asked about her own hair, Ruby admitted to spending up to an hour and a half perfecting her coiffed look each day, and that naturally she was a client of the salon. One couldn't help but be inspired to use the same stylist!

Winners and Losers' star Melissa Bergland also spoke highly of JS, saying “my friend gets her hair coloured and styled here and she always looks amazing”. Accompanying her was co-star Jack Pearson, who also thought the launch was fantastic.

Grant Smillie, Jordy Lucas and Jordan Smith were also amongst the crowd in on all the evening’s celebrations.
