When you put a fabulous trio of young and talented women together who all have a passion for beauty and fashion- you get ‘Make Up With Me’. This make-up boutique owned by Andrea Goldsworthy and Melissa Colosimo, is fast growing into an in-demand beauty stop for brides, models, celebrities and your every day girl! Neighbours star Jordy Lucas has signed on as the face of this beauty box and together they provide inspiration, advice and make-up looks for every woman. I chatted with the young owners of this business to find out more:

 You are both in your early twenties and already hold the keys to this successful business…can you remember the moment when you both decided to work together?

A: This business stems from a huge passion that we both have for fashion. Our friendship came first, as we both had similar goals and interests, then the business grew from there.

M: We both always knew we wanted to own our own business but make-up wasn’t always on the cards from the beginning. But after I got married and travelled to New York, I was so inspired by the fashion that I just had to come back home and turn my dream into a reality.

 So you didn’t always want to work in make-up?

A: Make-up is something we both fell into and then fell in love with. Neither of us were big make-up wearers growing up and we both studied to learn how to apply make-up professionally.

M: While we completed make-up training, our creative ideas and hard work is what sets us apart and makes the business successful.

 Neighbours star Jordy Lucas is the face of the company, how did that come about?

M: I met Jordy last year while doing make-up for a photo shoot styled by Jess Dempsey from whatwouldkarldo.com. Jordy loved the look I created and from there she asked me to do her make-up for the AFIs and then later on the Logies.

A: We absolutely love Jordy’s look - she is so versatile and simply stunning. She has amazing skin, bright blue eyes and can be transformed into any look we need!

M: The new spring cover of makeupwithme.com.au features Jordy with bright lips, bringing in orange tones to match her accessories - a huge colour for Spring/Summer11. The MUWM website theme changes seasonally with new offers, to tie in with the colours in fashion.

A: When Jordy became our cover girl, MUWM were invited to a shoot at Covet Magazine that involved other neighbours stars, Ashleigh Brewer and Jordan Smith. It’s always fun working with celebs and creating looks that the public don’t usually see them in.

 What colours should we expect to wear this Spring?

A: This Spring is all about pop colour. Bold/bright lips will be huge. Stick with your hot pinks, bright orange and coral!

M: If you love a traditional smokey eye - try mixing it up by adding a little colour! Coloured gel liner in blue/turquoise is HOT this season. Keep your skin glowing with a coral blush or bronzer.
